The Orlando area is the number one vacation destination in the world. The city and environs continue to expand both the number and the scope of activities and amenities available to locals and visitors alike.
Of course, the big three local attractions; Walt Disney World® Resort , Universal Studios Florida® and Sea World® lead the way.

Walt Disney World® Resort

The Walt Disney World® Resort has added several new and exciting additions to each of the four Disney Theme Parks. Located in Tomorrowland®, at the Magic Kingdom® Park, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, puts you right in the middle of Monstropolis. Mike, is your monster of ceremonies in this outrageous Live attraction. Over in Epcot®, ride through the Australian reefs in The Seas with Nemo & Friends and fly high above the Golden State of California on Soarin'T. Join in on the high speed, adrenaline, racing fun of Lights, Motors, Action: Extreme Stunt Show at the Disney-Hollywood Studios. Plunge into Finding Nemo - The Musical, a Broadway-Style show full of music, puppets, and of course, Dory, at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Plus, go face-to-face with the Yeti on Expedition Everest: The Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.

Universal Studios®

Universal Studios® recently opened the motion-based attraction, The Jimmy Neutron Adventure. Inspired by the animated hit show and movie, the attraction takes guests on a ride in Jimmy's rocket ship and includes such popular children's characters as the Rugrats and SpongeBob SquarePants. Universal Studios also recently added the attraction Shrek 4-D to its park. Based on the animated hit movie, the attraction immerses you in the world of Shrek, Donkey and friends.

SeaWorld Orlando®

SeaWorld Orlando® recently opened The Waterfront. This 5-acre dining, entertainment and shopping area resembles historic harbor towns of old and includes street entertainers as well as several restaurants and shops. SeaWorld Orlando will also be home to a new kids' reality series appearing on NBC's Discovery Kids. The 30-minute episodes will follow 13 to 15-year-old teenagers as they experience "Adventure Camp". The campers will go behind-the-scenes at SeaWorld and then into the wild to rescue and release sea turtles and manatees.

The Mall at Millenia

If it's shopping you want, Orlando has it. With five major upscale department store openings this year, Orlando has become one of the fastest growing retail markets in the United States. Central Florida now boasts eight shopping malls to satisfy the shop-a-holic in you.

Florida Mall

Also new to the Orlando retail scene is Nordstrom which recently moved in to Orlando's Florida Mall. Other venues that opened this fall at the Florida Mall is Delia's, featuring apparel for girls; and two new restaurants, California Pizza Kitchen and Buca di Beppo.

Port Canaveral

If you want to take the short drive to Port Canaveral to hop aboard one of the many luxury ships that dock there, you'll be happy to hear that the construction is complete and the Port is easier than ever to access. Or why not leave the driving to us and enjoy a Casino Cruise? Buses leave Summer Bay Resort. Just ask for details when you check in.
